2 March, 2016, Bangalore: In its recent round of funding, Skedool.it has raised an undisclosed funding from Kludein and from investors Phani Sama, founder of redBus, Narayan Ramachandran, former country head of Morgan Stanley India and Pranav Pai, investing on behalf of Mohandas Pai, reports ET.
The company has planned to utilise the raised amount in developing its product and scaling its operations. Commenting on the development, Deepti Yenireddy, CEO, Skedool.it said, “Business professionals spend an inordinate amount of time on low value scheduling activities. We developed Skedool’s assistant as a blend of artificial and human intelligence that quickly and accurately handles all your B2B scheduling and calendar management needs for less than 5% of the cost of a full time executive assistant.”
Skedool.it is an artificial intelligence-based startup which uses a simple method of natural language processing which enables the computer to learn from its previous data. The entire process is supervised and monitored by humans to enable customers to communicate with the service via email. Currently, company’s services are available on Gmail and Outlook. Apart from that, company has also tied up with prominent Customer Relationship Management (CRM), marketing and recruiting tools.
