28 January, 2016, Bangalore: Former Infosys Director, Mohandas Pai, Mohit Saxena, Co-Founder, InMobi and other investors has shown a keen interest in JustDoc and invested an undisclosed amount in the startup. In a press statement, the company has revealed that apart from aforementioned investors, it has also raised funding from Raghunandan G, Co-Founder, TaxiForSure, Singapore Angel Network and TracxnLabs.

Founded by Jugal Anchalia, Abhishek Kumar and Vikash Singh, it provides one of its kind facilities to its patient. It enables them to do video consultation with the doctor 24/7 through its website. Recently, company has launched its android app through which a patient can access the same service with the help of his android phone. However, company has kept a nominal charge of Rs 249 per consultation.

Speaking exclusively to techstory.in, Vikash Singh, Co-Founder, JustDoc, said “Technology will play a crucial role in making the world around us better. Healthcare is already employing technology in many unimaginable ways that is improving our lives.”

Commenting on the investment, Mohit Saxena said, “This (JustDoc) can change the way we provide healthcare in villages and non-metro cities. Even in metros hospitals that are overburdened with patients, end to end video consultation workflows can make the whole process of consultation more efficient.”

“We only have two reactions when it comes to our health – Ignorance and Fear. This needs to be changed. JustDoc is using technology to make healthcare as simple as it should have been. JustDoc will make sure that quality healthcare is delivered to patients in need round the clock,” told Jugal Anchalia, Co-Founder, JustDoc to techstory.in.

JustDoc has managed to rope in 100 doctors from some of the coveted hospitals of the country such as Apollo Hospitals, Fortis Hospital, Manipal Hospitals, and All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Currently, it is offering consultation for paediatrics, dermatology, gynaecology, psychology, and general medicine problems.
