Samsung has launched it’s new tablet – Galaxy Tab S4 in India. The tablet is priced at ₹57,900. The market of tablet is decreasing, but it’s good to see some new offering in this segment.

The tablet comes with a new S-Pen. The tablet can also be paired with a DeX for a PC experience. Users can also use an HDMI connector to connect the tablet to a bigger monitor.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. The smartphone has 4 Gb RAM and 64 GB Internal Storage. There is also a 256 GB Storage variant of Galaxy Tab S4, but the company has not launched it in India.

The tablet also has a Micro-SD card slot which supports Micro-SD card of up-to 400 GB.

The tablet has a 10.5 inch Super AMOLED display. The screen aspect ratio is 16:10. The display has a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels.

The new Galaxy Tab S4 has slimmer bezels than Galaxy Tab S3, which gives a bigger display in smaller form factor. However due to slimmer bezels, there is no physical home button on the tablet. Also there is no fingerprint sensor on the tablet. The tablet has facial recognition system for bio-metric unlock.

The Galaxy Tab S4 gets it’s power from a 7,300 mAh battery. The tablet supports fast charging. The Galaxy Tab S4 comes with Android Oreo.

The tablet has a 13 MP rear camera. The rear camera has f/1.9 aperture. The pixel size in rear camera is of 1.12 µm. A LED flash is present to support rear camera in low light photography. The tablet has a 8 MP front camera with a f/1.9 aperture. The pixel size in front camera is of 1.12 µm.

The tablet has a 3.5 mm Headphone Jack. The tablet has a USB-Type C for charging and data transfer.  The tablet comes in two colours – black and grey.

Samsung has also provided some offers on buying Galaxy Tab S4. Customers can get ₹5000 cashback by using HDFC Bank Credit Cards,  HDFC Bank Debit Cards (EMI) and Consumer Durable Loans.

Customers will also get instant ₹2,750 cashback in the form of Jio vouchers on recharging with ₹198 or ₹299 plan. Jio users will also get double data benefits on every recharge for the next four recharges.

Users can buy the Keyboard Book Cover for ₹7,499. Regular Book Cover is also available for ₹3,999. The POGO charging dock is available for ₹3,499.
