Online Media Channel, TVF has secured $5M funding from Tiger Global

Online media channel, The Viral Fever has now secured $5 Million in the fresh funding round from the Tiger Global Management, according to the report which has been revealed.

The New York-based firm has invested INR 34.6 crore as a part of the TVF Series D round with its Internet Fund III earlier this month. The investment follows the Tiger Global Investment $5.8 Million investment in the startup last June.

TVF is known for making the shows such as the Permanent Roommates, The Kota Factory, Pitchers and Qtiyapa which are also targeted at India web savvy, young demographic. While the startup a of now used Youtube as a primary platform, it has also built its own website and app recently.

The startup which us founded by the Arunabh Kumar as a YouTube channel creating the original shows in the year 2010. TVF has a wide range of high-profile startup founders as its backer, a list which even includes the Ola Bhavish Aggarwal, FreeCharge and Cred Co-founder Kunal Shah, Flipkart Co-founder Binny Bansal.
