04 June 2019, India:

Legal-tech startup Leegality has raised fresh capital in a funding round. The funding round was led by Mumbai Angels Network (MA Network).

Chandigarh Angels also participated in the funding round. The financial details have not been disclosed yet.

The company will use the fresh capital to enhance it’s technology, scale operations, and accelerate growth.

Shivam Singla, Founder and CEO, Leegality, said, “We are delighted to partner with MA Network as they support our commitment to transform the way agreements are executed in India. Using our cloud-based eSign and Document Workflow solution, we enable enterprises to eliminate paper & people intensive document processes, which brings about a 100x efficiency in their documentation workflows.”

Nandini Mansinghka, CEO & MD, MA Network, said, “We believe Leegality has tremendous opportunity as a tech disruptor for customers and enterprises as electronic signatures provide convenience, security and ease of use. Digital technology has enabled communication to go online and in order to stay relevant and competitive all industries must also go digital.”

Nandini Mansinghka, added, “We see, digitized transactions for any type of business completely online, from start to finish, in a secure environment for anyone, anywhere, a strong space to invest and are excited to welcome Leegality to the growing MA Network portfolio.”

Kishore Ganji, MA Investor,  said, “Leegality has identified a valid pain point which will enable organizations and professionals to create a better customer experience, save money, and work faster by automating and streamlining their business document processes digitally.”

Neil Mehta, MA Investor, said, “Leegality has the potential to transform the exchange of official documents in the same way that email has transformed snail mail.”

Leegality was founded by Shivam Singla, Prakhar Agrawal, and Sapan Parekh in 2016. It is an eSigning and digital document workflow. It provides Aadhaar, eSign and eStamping facilities to businesses.
