Ford Maverick 300T and Raptor R Turn Heads at SEMA 2025

Ford made a strong statement at this year’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas, introducing two attention-grabbing builds that combine style, power, and practicality the Maverick 300T and a supercharged F-150 Raptor R. Both models are more than flashy showpieces; they preview dealer-installed performance kits that will soon be available to customers, complete with full Ford Performance warranties.

The Maverick 300T takes the compact pickup’s daily usability and injects genuine muscle, while the upgraded Raptor R takes Ford’s most extreme off-roader and makes it even more unhinged all while keeping emissions regulators happy.

Maverick 300T: Turbocharged Street Truck

The “300T” badge on Ford’s show truck isn’t just for looks it represents a major leap in output. The 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine gets a jump from 238 horsepower to about 300 horses and 317 lb-ft of torque. Ford achieved the gain by swapping in a larger 59mm turbo from the Mustang’s 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine, adding a Mishimoto intercooler, recalibrating the ECU with a ProCal 4 tune, and topping it off with a Borla exhaust system.

This turbo package is designed to be 50-state emissions legal and covered under a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty, provided installation is handled by a Ford dealer or ASE-certified technician. The upgrade is currently planned for the 2025 Maverick AWD lineup (XL, XLT, and Lariat trims) equipped with the 4,000-pound towing package. Enthusiasts are already hoping Ford extends compatibility to older Maverick models and the sportier Lobo variant.

Sleeker, Lower, and Sharper

The 300T doesn’t stop at more power it also gets a visual and handling makeover. A Lobo-inspired lowering kit drops the truck by 0.4 inches up front and 1.18 inches at the rear, supported by upgraded dampers and a sturdier anti-roll bar for tighter cornering.

On the outside, it wears an Air Design front spoiler, bronze tailgate badging by Tufskinz, and Ford Performance accents. Completing the stance are 20-inch Mach-E GT wheels, wrapped in 245/45R20 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires on the SEMA build (though Ford recommends Pirelli P Zero Elects). Buyers will be able to choose between black or bronze styling packages once the kit officially launches. Pricing hasn’t been revealed yet, but availability is expected soon.

Raptor R: Over 900 Horses of Legal Chaos

If the Maverick 300T is Ford’s street-sleeper, the upgraded F-150 Raptor R is its desert-devouring beast. The 5.2-liter supercharged V8 already good for 720 hp gets a new 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger, the largest ever used on a factory Ford engine. The result: over 900 horsepower of CARB-legal madness.

The Whipple upgrade, like the Maverick turbo kit, will carry a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty and must be installed by certified technicians to qualify. The SEMA concept truck also features a Borla exhaust, carbon fiber body panels from Anderson Composites, 703 Bead Grip wheels, BFGoodrich KO3 tires, and a full Rigid Industries lighting setup.

Factory-Backed Power for Real Drivers

Ford’s 2025 SEMA lineup proves that enthusiasts don’t need to choose between performance and peace of mind. With both the Maverick 300T and the Raptor R, the automaker is bringing tuner-level excitement straight to its showrooms complete with factory reliability and legality.

It’s a bold move that makes one thing clear: Ford’s Custom Garage isn’t just showing off at SEMA it’s redefining what “factory performance” really means.
