Toyota is finally widening the reach of its most powerful Land Cruiser ever. The Land Cruiser 300 Hybrid, which debuted in the Middle East last year, is now confirmed for select Eastern European markets starting January 2026.
It’s a big move, but also a carefully controlled one. Western Europe and North America still won’t get the 300 Series. Instead, those markets remain reserved for the Lexus LX and the smaller Land Cruiser 250. Under the hood, this is no mild hybrid pretending to be efficient. The Land Cruiser 300 Hybrid pairs a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 with an electric motor mounted between the engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission.

There’s also an EV-only mode for low-speed driving up to 30 km/h, useful for tight trails or crawling through campsites. Power comes from a nickel-metal hydride battery, chosen for durability rather than range bragging rights.

Toyota hasn’t compromised the Land Cruiser’s core identity. The hybrid system is fully sealed in a waterproof housing, allowing the SUV to retain its 700 mm wading depth. That’s serious off-road credibility.

Availability and Pricing
Toyota says the Land Cruiser 300 Hybrid will launch in select Eastern European markets from January 2026, though exact countries haven’t been confirmed yet.
Pricing remains under wraps for Europe, but in the UAE, the hybrid starts at AED 389,900 (around $106,000) a strong indicator of where European pricing could land.
Australia is confirmed to receive the hybrid in the first half of 2026, and Japan may follow later with an updated version.
