Do you have Tynamo but want to see how it looks evolved? We’ve got you! Follow the guide to know how you can evolve Tynamo! It is a process that needs certain steps and some time. But it’s all worth it. So, let’s get started.
About Tynamo
Tynamo is a tiny, white, eel-like Electric-type Pokémon that was first introduced in Generation V in the Unova region. Despite being known as the “EleFish” Pokémon, it’s known for being very small in weight, weighing only 0.7 lbs. Individually, a Tynamo is quite weak! Or so you will see in the game. It only knows four moves and can’t produce enough electricity to give a good attack. However, they are popular for swimming in massive schools to create powerful, lightning-level shocks, which can be quite a thing to witness. Its standout feature is the Levitate ability, which makes it immune to Ground-type attacks. That’s what makes it special and worth evolving in the game. It evolves into Eelektrik at level 39 and eventually into the unstoppable Eelektross using a Thunder Stone.
Steps to evolve Tynamo
If you want to evolve Tynamo, then these are the steps that you need to follow.
Move to Level 39
You have to hit this level if you want to evolve it! Tynamo has one of the highest evolution thresholds for a basic Pokémon. You’ll need to train it until it reaches Level 39. One thing that bugs people a lot is that it usually only knows Tackle, Thunder Wave, Spark, and Charge Beam. That’s why many trainers use an Exp. Share or keep it at the back of the party to just gain some experience points before it can actually evolve.
The First Transformation
Once it hits Level 39, it evolves into Eelektrik. This is where things get interesting because Eelektrik can actually learn a wide variety of moves through TMs and leveling up.
The Thunder Stone Finish
Unlike many Pokémon that evolve again through leveling, Eelektrik requires a Thunder Stone to reach its final form, Eelektross. There is no specific level requirement for this, and you can do it anytime after the first evolution. You can use the stone immediately or wait until Eelektrik learns specific moves you want. This gives an advantage, especially in battles.
Moment of Truth
After you have followed the process correctly, you’ll end up with Eelektross! This Pokémon can levitate and has amazing qualities.
That is all you need to do in order to evolve Tynamo in a game. It’s fun, may seem like a drag, but it’s all worth it.
