Porsche has officially pulled the wraps off the new Cayenne Coupe Electric, adding a sharper, more stylish option to its expanding EV lineup. With deliveries set to begin by the end of summer, the new performance SUV starts at $116,150 and combines dramatic coupe-inspired styling with serious power.

The launch doesn’t come as a surprise. The gasoline-powered Cayenne Coupe has been a strong success story for Porsche, accounting for around 40 percent of gas Cayenne sales in 2025. Now, the brand is betting that buyers want the same sporty silhouette in electric form.

Familiar Shape, Sharper Presence

The new Cayenne Coupe Electric shares its front-end design with the standard Cayenne EV, but the roofline is where things change. It drops smoothly after the B-pillar into a new rear glass section, creating a more athletic profile.

Porsche has also added an adaptive rear spoiler positioned behind the rear window, giving the SUV a more aggressive look while improving aerodynamics. The coupe body sits 0.9 inch lower than the standard version, helping reduce drag from 0.25 to 0.23.

That may sound technical, but what it really means is better efficiency and a cleaner high-speed driving experience.

Three Power Levels, One Serious Turbo

The Cayenne Coupe Electric arrives in three trims, each with increasingly wild performance.

  • Base Model: 435 horsepower
  • S Trim: 657 horsepower
  • Turbo Trim: 1,139 horsepower

Porsche claims the base model can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. The S cuts that to 3.6 seconds, while the Turbo rockets there in just 2.4 seconds.

Yes, that’s supercar territory in a family SUV.

Fast Charging and Big Range Expectations

Built on an 800-volt architecture, the Cayenne Coupe Electric supports DC fast charging speeds of up to 400 kW. Porsche says charging from 10 to 80 percent can take under 16 minutes under ideal conditions.

The SUV uses a NACS charging port on the driver’s rear side and a J1772 port on the passenger side for Level 2 home charging.

While official EPA range numbers haven’t been released, the 108-kWh battery pack is expected to deliver well over 300 miles on a full charge.

Still Practical, Still a Cayenne

Despite its sportier roofline, the Cayenne Coupe Electric hasn’t forgotten SUV duties. It can tow up to 7,716 pounds and offers an available Off-Road package for improved approach angles.

Standard adaptive two-chamber air suspension is fitted across the range. Buyers can also choose rear-wheel steering, while higher trims gain access to Porsche Active Ride suspension and Torque Vectoring Plus.

Lightweight Sport Package Adds Extra Edge

For buyers chasing performance looks, Porsche offers a Lightweight Sport package. It includes:

  • Carbon-fiber roof
  • Carbon exterior trim
  • Unique 22-inch wheels
  • Performance tires
  • Pepita fabric seat inserts
  • Race-Tex headliner

Porsche says the package cuts up to 38.8 pounds, depending on specification.

Pricing and Launch Timeline

The 2026 Cayenne Coupe Electric will begin deliveries at the end of summer. Pricing starts at:

  • Base: $116,150
  • S: $133,550
  • Turbo: $170,350

The Cayenne Coupe Electric proves one thing clearly: even in the EV era, Porsche still knows how to make an SUV feel exciting.
