Loot Hacker Sprites are a new Sprite variant in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override. Each one has a blue, digital look with scanning lines.
Their main benefit is simple but useful. When a Loot Hacker Sprite is equipped in your dedicated Sprite slot, it increases your chance of triggering a Loot Hack from searched Chests by 1.2x, or 20%.
All Loot Hacker Sprite Variants
There are 15 Loot Hacker Sprites currently available in Fortnite. They are:
- Loot Hacker Jonesy Sprite
- Loot Hacker Adventure Sprite
- Loot Hacker Bush Sprite
- Loot Hacker Sonic Sprite
- Loot Hacker Tails Sprite
- Loot Hacker Shadow Sprite
- Loot Hacker 8-Bit Sprite
- Loot Hacker Jackrabbit Sprite
- Loot Hacker Crown Sprite
- Loot Hacker Killswitch Sprite
- Loot Hacker Klombo Sprite
- Loot Hacker Overshield Sprite
- Loot Hacker X-Ray Sprite
- Loot Hacker Onigiri Sprite
- Loot Hacker Storm Scout Sprite
Most of these can be found during normal matches, but the Loot Hacker Crown Sprite must be earned.
How to Find Loot Hacker Sprites
The easiest method is to search Chests while playing Battle Royale or Zero Build. Loot Hacker variants can appear as chest rewards, although specific variants are not guaranteed.
You can also look for Cheat Codes around the island. These codes are especially useful because their color indicates the Sprite rarity they can produce:
- Blue codes can provide Rare Sprites.
- Purple codes can provide Epic Sprites.
- Gold codes can provide Legendary Sprites.
Some useful locations include Golden Grove, Chopped Shop, Wonkeeland, Latte Landing, Shaken Sanctuary, Cluster Coast, Green Hill Zone, Reality’s Reign, The Battlewoods, Lifty Lodge, Heatwave Harbor, Sunken Shores, Stone Sanctum, and Geno’s Machine.
These locations can improve your chances of finding particular variants, but Cheat Codes can appear elsewhere too.
How to Get the Loot Hacker Crown Sprite
The Loot Hacker Crown Sprite is the major exception. You cannot simply find it inside a Chest or receive it from a Cheat Code.
Instead, you need to master the Gold Crown Sprite by winning a match while it is properly equipped. Trading for the Gold Crown or using another Sprite does not satisfy the requirement. This makes the Crown one of the more difficult Loot Hacker variants to obtain.
Use Loot Hacks to Improve Your Chances
If your goal is specifically to collect Loot Hacker Sprites, you can add the Loot Hacker Sprite Variant Loot Hack to your chest loot pool for 500 Sprite Dust. Upgrading the Loot Hack can further increase its chest drop rate, with the available levels reaching 15%.
The bonus from a Loot Hacker Sprite also becomes more useful when you are actively using Loot Hacks during a match.
Extract the Sprite Before You Lose It
Finding a Loot Hacker Sprite does not permanently unlock it. You must extract it successfully before it becomes part of your collection.
You can use an Extraction Crate at an Extraction Site, use a Portable Extractor, or win the match. Once the Sprite reaches your Sprite Garden, it is safe to use in future Fortnite matches.
If you are eliminated before extracting it, the Sprite is lost. This makes extraction an important part of collecting.
