The Crimson Crawler Camo is a hidden weapon camo in Call of Duty: Warzone, and it is not unlocked through a normal challenge. Instead, players must complete a secret Easter egg on Haunted Hollow, the Halloween version of Haven’s Hollow introduced during Season 6.
Start a Haunted Hollow Match
First, enter a Call of Duty: Warzone playlist featuring Haunted Hollow. Your first task is finding a glowing sword. There are three possible sword locations, but only one contains the item in each match. Check these spots:
- Mansion: Look at the top of the light beam inside the Mansion. The low-gravity vortex can help you reach it.
- Lumbermill: Search inside the Furnace at the burning Lumbermill.
- Riverboat: Look for the sword on the Slot Machine aboard the Riverboat.
Once you find it, pick up the sword and keep it with you. You do not need to collect anything from the other locations.
Take the Sword to the Floating Ruins
The next step is reaching the Floating Ruins. This elevated structure is part of Haunted Hollow and cannot simply be reached by walking up a normal path.
Look for the Jump Pad below the ruins. Use it to launch yourself onto the elevated platform while carrying the sword.
Place the Sword on the Podium
Once you reach the Floating Ruins, find the podium. Approach it while holding the sword and interact with it to place the item.
This starts the hidden Eldritch Gateway ritual. The objective now changes from finding the sword to defending the area and eliminating Zombies.
Kill Zombies to Charge the Gateway
After the sword is placed on the podium, Zombies begin spawning around the ritual area. Start eliminating them to charge the Eldritch Gateway.
Keep killing Zombies until the gateway reaches full charge. A weapon that handles groups of enemies quickly can make this part easier.
You should also watch for enemy Operators. The ritual can attract attention, and another squad can attack while you are focused on the Zombies. Teammates can cover the surrounding area while the player working on the ritual clears enemies.
Unlock the Crimson Crawler Camo
When the Eldritch Gateway is fully charged, the ritual is completed and the Crimson Crawler Camo unlocks. You do not need to finish the Warzone match or win the game after completing the Easter egg.
The important requirement is completing the ritual before your squad is eliminated. If you are wiped before the gateway finishes charging, you will need to start the process again in another Haunted Hollow match.
