Gallery Tokens are a new currency in EA Sports FC 27, tied closely to the FUT Gallery system and its collection-focused progression. They are earned by progressing through Gallery Sets and can be spent in the Gallery Token Store. The process rewards careful squad management rather than simple pack opening and smart use of coins.
What Are Gallery Tokens in EA Sports FC 27?
Gallery Tokens are rewards connected to grading Gallery Sets. When you collect eligible Player Items, they can be added to Sets based on clubs, leagues, rarities, or other themes. Improving a Set raises its grade and can unlock more rewards, including Gallery Tokens.
At launch, the Gallery Token Store includes Base Hall of FUT Player Items.
How to Earn Gallery Tokens
The main way to earn Gallery Tokens is to complete and grade Gallery Sets. Open the Gallery section in Football Ultimate Team and check the available Sets.
To progress efficiently:
- Check which Player Items are required for a Set.
- Add eligible cards from your club to the Set.
- Improve the Set’s Item Score with suitable cards.
- Look at available Tags, which can provide benefits.
- Grade the Set when you are satisfied with its score.
- Claim the rewards attached to the grade you reach.
Gallery grades range from D through S, with higher grades providing better rewards. Your score is not based only on overall rating. Item type, rarity, and Tags can also affect how well a card contributes to a Set.
The Transfer Market Trick
One of the most useful parts of the FC 27 Gallery is that an eligible Player Item can remain in your Gallery history after it leaves your club. You do not necessarily have to keep every card after using it for a Set.
Because of this, players can buy cheap cards from the Transfer Market, use them to improve a Gallery Set, grade the Set, and then sell the cards again. Gallery history remains recorded, although selling cards involves the normal Transfer Market tax.
Current testing suggests around 50,000 to 60,000 coins can work toward roughly 500 Tokens, but the cost changes with market prices.
Use First Owner Cards When Possible
First Owner Player Items can provide extra value when building certain Gallery Sets. These are cards that came directly to your club through sources such as packs or rewards rather than being purchased from another player.
Do not sell useful First Owner cards automatically. Check your Gallery Sets first. A card that seems unimportant for your squad could help you reach a stronger grade because of its ownership status or a relevant Tag.
What Can You Spend Gallery Tokens On?
Gallery Tokens are used in the Gallery Token Store. At launch, the store features Base Hall of FUT players, giving you access to specific historical-style cards.
Current launch information shows 500-Token options such as David Luiz and Doumbia, while Alexandre Pato and Hulk are listed at 750 Tokens. Store contents can change, so check the in-game Token Store before saving.
Tips for Getting Tokens Faster
If your goal is to build Tokens quickly, do not complete Sets at random. Compare the cost of the required cards with the number of Tokens available at each grade.
A simple approach is:
- Prioritize inexpensive Sets with reachable Token rewards.
- Use cards already sitting in your club before buying replacements.
- Check Tags before spending coins on higher-rated players.
- Sell eligible purchased cards after grading when you no longer need them.
- Save Tokens if the current rewards do not interest you.
