Gramophone, which is an agri tech startup, revealed that it has now secured INR 24 crore in the funding from the Raveen Sastry, Info Edge, Better Capital, and Asha Impact.
Info Edge is an existing investor in Gramophone, while on the other hand, Asha Impact is a platform which is founded by the Vikram Gandhi and Pramod Bhasin, according to the report revealed.
“The startup is rapidly scaling up its operations and will use the funds to expand across several states,” it added.
The company which is founded, gramophone offers actionable agronomics insights coupled with the last-mile delivery of agriculture inputs to farmers with a smartphone app and a call center. The startup last-mile delivery model that has even helped them sever more than 3 lakh farmers in the remotest village across central India.
“We are excited to see how farmers are adopting newer opportunities to maximize their income. This investment will enable us to invest aggressively in the product, data science and scale operations across geographies,” Gramophone co-founder and CEO Tauseef Khan said.
