
Mercedes-Benz has unveiled updated version of its entry-level compact sedan CLA at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The new CLA-Class gets a fresh look and many upgrades inside as well.
Starting from the looks, the new CLA gets the similar coupe-like silhouette and with the increased length of the car, it looks like a mini version of the CLS Coupe. The 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA measures is 48 mm longer and 53 mm wider than its predecessor, while the wheelbase is also increased by 30 mm.

The cabin of the new CLA is similar to the new A-Class. It comes with the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) software and two seven-inch displays on the top of the dash– one for the instruments and other for the infotainment system.
A pair of 10.25-inch screens can also be choosen at an extra cost. Further available improvements include navigation, a Burmester Surround Sound System and ‘Hey Mercedes’ advanced voice control feature.

Mercedes has only unveiled the new CLA 250 variant that comes packed with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol which makes 222 hp and 350Nm of torque. The motor is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The rest of the engine lineup is expected to follow the same as of the A-Class.
The 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA has already made its public debut at the CES and will go on sale starting this May is Europe followed by other region of the world.
