4 March, 2016, Hyderabad: Aahaa.in has pumped Rs 6.7 crore funding from YourNest Angel and group of investors. The company has raised the amount as a part of its series A funding.

It ventured into the market 16 months back and in its small stint, it has managed to pull in big players such as Ashok Leyland, Wipro and other stores in Chennai. Company plans to utilise the raised amount in spreading its reach to other cities.

Commenting on the development, Asokan Sattanathan, Co-Founder, Ahaan.in said, “The indirect purchases make up 6-15 per cent of a company’s expenses depending on the industry and the size of the organisation. By bringing this to a common platform, we help the companies consolidate their orders and provide end-to-end fulfilment.”

Aahaa.in works on a simple model and provides services on single-year as well as multi-year contract basis to its clients. The company deals in sourcing consumables such as stationery, housekeeping supplies, cafeteria supplies and IT consumables to corporate houses. “We also provide analytics to companies to monitor the usage of certain supplies and optimise this across branches,” said Rajaraman Sundaresan, co-founder of Aahaa.
