US tech giant Apple has acquired Tel Aviv-based Israeli cybertechnology startup RealFace as per the report by Calcalist. Though the amount was not confirmed, multiple reports stat- “Couple of million dollars”, “several million dollars”.

RealFace creates A.I software that brings back human perception to digital process, bringing our customers the technologies needed to connect with their consumers in the digital era. The software enables authentication, automated onboarding & mobile conversion optimization using the most advanced deep learning methods, focusing on a frictionless user experience.

RealFace is the fourth Israel-based firm Apple is known to have acquired. In 2011 it bought flash memory maker Anobit for a reported $400 million, then in November 2013, it acquired 3D sensor company PrimeSense for an estimated $345 million. Most recently in 2015, Apple bought LinX for around $20 million as per the report by Macrumors.
