Samsung Unveils Galaxy A9: World’s First Phone with Four Rear Cameras

Samsung has finally unveiled its latest smartphone that is Galaxy A9, which is the world’s first smartphone to have rear camera with four lenses.

The company has revealed that Galaxy A9 offers 128GB of internal storage which can be further expanded to 512GB.

The phone also comes with Samsung’s Bixby virtual assistant, Samsung Pay, and Samsung fitness tracker and will be available in three different color options – Lemonade Blue, Pink, and Caviar Black.

“As a global leader in smartphone innovation, we understand the demand for meaningful innovation in a fast-paced world driven by visual communication,” said DJ Koh, President, and Chief Executive of the IT and mobile communications division at Samsung Electronics.

“Building on our legacy in smartphone camera development, we’re introducing next-generation technology across our entire Galaxy portfolio to give more consumers the opportunity to experience cutting-edge innovation.”

Samsung Galaxy A9 has a rear camera with 24 Mega Pixel resolution and autofocus, and a telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom for taking more detailed close-ups and long shots.

Some other features include Artificial intelligence-powered scene recognition and a depth lens for managing the depth of focus and field of a photo.

The standard version of the smartphone is available at a price of $1249.99.
