Tata Motors has officially launched its big SUV Harrier for sale today. How much the SUV has been anticipated can be imagined by the fact that just after the launch, the Harrier has gained three months of waiting period for the delivery.
Available with a diesel engine only, the Harrier is offered in four variants: XE, XM, XT and XZ with the prices starting from ₹ 12.69 lakh going up to ₹ 16.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Powering the Tata Harrier is a 2-liter 4 cylinder turbocharged diesel motor that makes 138 bhp and 350Nm of torque. Currently, the Harrier is only offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox. It can be drive in three different modes: Eco, City and Sport.
Inside the car, the dash gets a 8.8” High Resolution Floating Island Touchscreen Infotainment System with in-car connectivity and infotainment though Android Auto & Apple Car Play, the ConnectNext App Suite (DriveNext, Tata Smart Remote, Tata Smart Manual), Video & Image Playback, Voice Recognition & SMS Readout and Voice Alerts, paired with a 320W RMS JBL Audio System with 9 speakers (4 Speakers + 4 Tweeters + 1 Subwoofer).
