Spritzee is a Kalos region Pokemon themed around perfume that was introduced to Pokemon GO on May 4, 2021 during the Luminous Legends X event.
Many Pokemon GO trainers are likely looking forward to evolving Spritzee to its evolved form Armoatisse after it recently received a Spotlight Hour. There’s no doubt that after a Spotlight Hour, players will have the 50 candies needed to evolve Spritzee. However, there is one more catch to evolving this specific Pokemon. Trainers must use an incense item while Spritzee is their buddy Pokemon, as well as feed the Pokemon 50 candies. Fortunately, this is not a difficult task.
The good news for Pokemon GO trainers looking to evolve Spritzee is that incense isn’t hard to come by. It may be more difficult for some trainers, but the item always finds its way into the inventory of a determined player. The simplest way to obtain incense is by purchasing it from the in-game shop. This costs Pokecoins, which can be obtained through activities such as gym defence or through the use of real-world money in microtransactions.
Depending on their trainer level, a player may be on the verge of receiving incense as a level-up reward. At levels 5, 7, 10, 15, 25, and 35, trainers receive one incense as a reward. They also get two incenses when they reach level 20. Trainers will receive three and four incenses at levels 30 and 40, respectively. Trainers who don’t want to spend Pokecoins on incense may find that levelling up is a good way to get the incense they require.
Incense is occasionally awarded as a final reward for completing Special Research Tasks. Since Niantic is constantly adding new Special Research, Pokemon GO trainers may want to complete these tasks if they haven’t already. It is possible to amass a large number of incenses in a short period of time by doing so, depending on what the research tasks require of the player.
Although incense is not the easiest item to obtain in-game, players should be able to obtain one or two through natural gameplay progression. If all else fails, it may be more convenient to spend real-world money and purchase one from a shop.
