This year, he won a 10-year bet regarding an S&P 500 stock index fund that would outdo other hedge funds. By winning this bet, Buffet was able to give $ 2 million to Girls Inc. This money was used by the organization to support a residential program that revolved around taking care of young women who left foster care.
