Prepare Before Starting the Boss Fight
The fight is much easier if you spend a few extra rounds getting ready. Rushing into the encounter with weak gear often leads to a quick defeat.
Before activating the boss fight, make sure you have:
- A Pack-a-Punched primary weapon at the highest level available
- High weapon rarity upgrades
- Full armor plates
- Self-Revive Kit if playing solo
- Strong tactical and lethal equipment
- Plenty of ammunition
- Essential Perks for survivability and damage
Having enough Salvage to repair armor between rounds is also a major advantage.
Choose Weapons That Deal Consistent Damage
Although several weapons are capable of clearing the fight, automatic rifles and high-powered weapons generally perform the best because they maintain steady damage during every phase.
Your weapon should offer:
- Reliable damage against the dragon’s weak points
- Fast reload speed

Throughout the fight, powerful Oni enemies will appear carrying special flags.
Defeating these enemies allows you to collect the flag and plant it inside marked capture zones. Once the capture process finishes, a blue protective area appears.

- It protects you from the dragon’s attacks.
- It allows you to damage the dragon’s weak spots.
Outside these damage windows, focus entirely on surviving and completing objectives instead of wasting ammunition.

These areas receive far more damage than the rest of the body. Shooting anywhere else significantly slows the fight and wastes valuable ammunition.

Never Stop Moving
Movement is the key to surviving every phase.
The arena constantly becomes more dangerous as attacks cover large sections of the battlefield. Standing still almost always results in unnecessary damage.

Clearing space gives you much more freedom to dodge incoming attacks.
Survive the Final Phase
The third phase is easily the hardest part of the fight.
The dragon becomes far more aggressive while the arena fills with additional hazards. Damage windows are shorter, meaning every opportunity counts.
During this stage:
- Stay patient.
- Prioritize survival over dealing damage.
