If you are trying to add Milotic to your Pokédex in Pokémon Pokopia, there is an important detail to know first: Milotic does not evolve from Feebas in this game. Pokémon Pokopia does not use the traditional evolution system. Instead, each Pokémon is treated as a separate resident, and you need to create the right habitat to attract the one you want.

In the main Pokémon games, Feebas evolves into Milotic through special evolution methods. Pokémon Pokopia handles this differently. You cannot level up Feebas and turn it into Milotic, and there is no evolution item you need to use.
Milotic has to be attracted separately. This means you can have both Feebas and Milotic living in your world without sacrificing one for the other.
The current way to get Milotic is tied to the Fetching Scales for Feebas event, which runs from August 13, 2026, at 5:00 a.m. until August 28, 2026, at 4:59 a.m. local time.
Start The Fetching Scales For Feebas Event
First, make sure you have rebuilt a Pokémon Center in one of the main game areas. During the event, Feebas can appear outside a rebuilt Pokémon Center. Talk to Feebas to begin the event activities.
You will then need to visit Dream Islands and collect Prism Scales. These scales are the key resource for the event and can be exchanged for special swimming-themed furniture.
Keep an eye out for Prism Scales while exploring Dream Islands. You do not need to own the Bubbly Basin expansion to participate in the event.
Build Milotic’s Habitat
Once you have enough Prism Scales, exchange them for the event furniture and use those items to create a suitable habitat.
The important setup for Milotic is the event’s aquatic furniture. Players have found that the volleyball net, small ring, and cooler can be used for the Milotic habitat. Place the required pieces together in a habitat and leave the area available for a new Pokémon to move in.
After the habitat is ready, wait for Milotic to appear. You can then befriend Milotic like other residents. The Pokémon does not need to evolve from an existing Feebas. It arrives as Milotic itself.
If you are specifically looking for Milotic, do not waste time trying evolution stones, leveling methods, or trades. Those systems do not turn Feebas into Milotic in Pokémon Pokopia.
Can You Get Milotic After The Event?
The event is time-limited, but the Pokémon you attract can remain as a permanent resident. The event furniture can also be used to create the habitat, so getting Milotic during the event is the safest approach.
The event does not take place at the Bubbly Basin Pokémon Center or on Cloud Islands. If Feebas is not appearing where you expect, use a rebuilt Pokémon Center in the main game and make sure the event has been triggered.
