The John Cena Challenge has arrived in Clash of Clans as part of the WWE: Search for Cena event. Unlike a normal multiplayer attack, this challenge gives you a fixed base, an army, and a limited window to prove you can take it down. Getting two stars is enough to claim the main decoration, but players chasing the leaderboard will want a three-star clear with a fast time.

How To Unlock The John Cena Challenge
You cannot enter John Cena’s base whenever you want. First, you need a Challenger Contract. These contracts can be found through WWE Chests during the September event.
Once you have a contract, use it to access Cena’s base. Each contract gives you 24 hours of access, so it is smart to activate one when you have enough time to make several attempts. This matters if you are trying to improve your completion time instead of simply earning two stars.
Learn The Army
The challenge is built around temporary WWE-themed troops, so do not approach it like an ordinary Clash of Clans attack. Your available units include the Giant Giant, K.A.N.E, Yeti Undertaker, and YEETer.
Each unit has a specific purpose, and successful attacks depend heavily on deploying them in the right order. Before dropping everything, look at the base and identify which defenses could interrupt your main push.
Start With The YEETer
A useful opening is to send the YEETer toward the side where you want to create your first opening. Follow it with K.A.N.E and support the push with a Rage spell when the troops begin fighting defenses.
The goal is not to destroy buildings quickly. You want your troops moving deeper into the base instead of spreading around the outside. Good placement at the beginning makes the rest of the attack much easier to control.
Push The Giant Giant Toward The Town Hall
The Giant Giant is one of your most important units because it can absorb enormous punishment while opening a path toward the Town Hall. Deploy it from the bottom side of the base and use Rage to increase its pressure.
Watch its path carefully. You want the Giant Giant to reach the Town Hall rather than wander toward low-value buildings. Once it is inside the core, use your Freeze spell to protect the push from dangerous defenses or heroes.
Taking the Town Hall is part of securing the attack, so avoid wasting your support spells too early.
Use Healing Spells At The Right Time
After the Town Hall falls, your attention should shift toward keeping the remaining troops alive. A Healing spell can stabilize the Giant Giant and K.A.N.E as they continue through the base.
Another important moment comes when the Yeti Undertaker reaches the upper section. Supporting it with a Healing spell can help it survive while dealing with defenses around the top side.
Do not drop every spell at once. The challenge rewards timing, and a spell used five seconds too early can be the difference between a good finish and a failed attack.
How To Get Three Stars
If your goal is only the Cody’s Callout decoration, remember that two stars are enough. However, a three-star result is the better target if you want a good completion time.
Keep these points in mind:
- Plan the attack before deploying your army.
- Use Rage when your main troops are entering defensive areas.
- Protect key troops with Freeze when necessary.
- Save Healing spells for moments when several units are under pressure.
- Keep the Town Hall as a priority.
- Watch the timer instead of rushing your deployment.
Practice Before Chasing Speed
Your first successful attack does not need to be fast. Learn how the troops move, where defenses pull them, and when your spells provide the most value. Once you understand the base, repeat the attack with cleaner placements.
