Vishakha Mulye has been appointed as the next Chief Executive Officer of Aditya Birla Capital by the company’s leadership. Mulye is now the chief executive officer in charge of corporate banking, restricted trading, markets, and exchange banking.
Mulye succeeds Ajay Srinivasan, who has accepted another position within the Aditya Birla Group. His particular job description has yet to be revealed by the corporation.
“Ms. Mulye will join the Company on June 1, 2022, as Chief Executive Officer (Designate), with a one-month cross-over with Mr. Ajay Srinivasan to ensure a smooth transition of administration. She will take over as CEO of Aditya Birla Capital Limited when the transition period is complete “According to the organization’s stock exchange notification.
Mulye has played various vital roles and driven a few significant drives during his thirty-year career. Previously, she was the CEO of ICICI Lombard and ICICI Ventures.
About Vishakha Mulye-
Vishakha Mulye began her career as the Executive Director of ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited and the Group Chief Financial Officer of ICICI Bank Limited, India’s largest private sector bank and second-largest bank.
Ms. Mulye is a Chartered Accountant who began her career with the ICICI group in 1993. She has substantial experience in project finance, structured finance, treasury, corporate planning and strategy, investor relations, and distressed asset resolution.
She was also in charge of ICICI Bank’s client-related treasury and markets operations, capital markets business, and connections with domestic financial institutions and multilateral organizations during this time. As ICICI Bank’s Group CFO, she was in charge of the bank’s financial reporting, balance sheet management, planning, strategy, investor relations, corporate communications, market, and operational risk management operations. She was key in bolstering the bank’s capital basis by launching India’s first simultaneous ADR and domestic equity offering, as well as the country’s first hybrid Tier-1 capital issue.

Ms. Mulye received the award for ‘Most Powerful Women in Indian Business – 2007’ from Business Today.
She also received the CA Corporate Leader Award 2008 (2nd in the ‘CA Young leader – Female’ category), organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
She received the India CFO Award, 2006, instituted by IMA for excellence in finance in a large corporate.
The World Economic Forum also selected her as a ‘Young Global Leader’ for the year 2007. She is a member of the Aspen Institute for ‘India Leadership Initiative’.
