PickYourTrail, which is a travel tech startup that helps the travelers plan and books multi-country vacations online, has now secured to $3 Million in the funding round of Series A, according to the report which has been revealed.
The round was led by the Kumar Venbu, the co-founder of the Software as a Service major Zoho, and Shyam Shekhar, the founder of financial advisory firm iThought.
Rajagopal Subramanian, the Chief Information Officer of the Entrust Family Officer Investment Advisors, and Girish Mathrubootham, the Co-founder and CEO of Freshworks had also participated in the round.
The company will now be going to use the funds for the product innovation, branding and to hire tech talent. It will also invest is scaling up its proprietary technology platform, the statement revealed.
The firm which is operated and owned by the Travel Troops Global Pvt Ltd, PickYourTrail allows the travelers to view, plan and real-time prices and instantly book the vacations online to cover 200 cities across the globe.
“I believe that our algorithms across personalization, routing and price matching are industry-first in their approach and output. Our end goal is to make PickYourTrail synonymous with customized international vacations, and this round is a great stepping stone in that direction,” Shankar said.
