Well, September is here and you all know what it means: Apple is preparing for its yearly product launch event. Under the slogan ‘It’s Glowtime,’ the tech giant is preparing to introduce its new gadgets and innovations. September 9th, we will be getting some significant releases from Apple: iPhone 16, Apple Watch Series 10, Watch Ultra 3, and AirPods 4. Now let me proceed into what I think can be expected at this year’s Apple event!
iPhone 16: The Star of the Show
Not a big shocker here—the iPhone 16 is anticipated to be the highlight of the show in September. It has been heard that iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 plus will retain the size of the previous iPhone versions but iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max may feature slightly larger screens, about 6.9 inches.
Apple is also expected to reduce the bezel size surrounding the display which is a good sign as you get more screen real estate. There is word that Apple is preparing to implement the Action Button for all the iPhone 16 series. This customizable shortcut button that was initially a feature of the iPhone 15 Pro models could become common.
And now here is even better news for all of you who enjoy cameras. iPhone 16 series could have a taller design for the rear camera. The Pro models can even have 5X telephoto zoom and a new 48MP ultrawide camera. Also, it can provide up to 2TB of storage space for storing all those high-resolution images you take. Another option that may turn some heads is a new bronzed gold color called the “Desert Titanium”, so put on your thinking caps.
Apple Watch Series 10: A Bigger and Better Design?
The Apple Watch series has yet to get a much-needed major upgrade and this September will see the Apple Watch Series 10. If the gossip is accurate, users will get even larger watch faces as the products will be available in 45 and 49mm editions, which will be as bulky as the Apple Watch Ultra 2. For those who prefer a thin, the current generation of Series 10 could be slimmer than the previous one, as Apple continues to search for thinner devices.
There are also discussions on a new magnetic system for the connection of bands and watch cases. Whether this will be introduced with the Series 10 is uncertain, but it is definitely a feature that fans should anticipate in the future release. Picture yourself putting on your watch and hearing an audible click when the buckle connects.
Apple Watch Ultra 3: Minor but Meaningful Changes
There is also the Apple Watch Ultra 3 in the pipeline, but there will be no gigantic shift. It is expected to maintain the rugged design from the 2022 model, but it could introduce more case colors and a new chip to enhance performance. While we may likely never get new health features such as blood pressure monitors or glucose sensors anytime soon mainly due to some legalities, this watch is nothing short of amazing.
That Apple AirPods 4
The new Apple AirPods4 are rumored to be released later this September. We may have to wait until 2025 for the AirPod Pro refresh, but the AirPods 4 is going to be a breath of fresh air. As for the new options, Apple might decommission the AirPods 3 and 2 for these mid-range and entry-level TWS earphones. Some sources have hinted that they may, with new designs, and they may come with more color options or USB C charging. Also, the mid-range model may also come with active noise Cancellation as seen on the AirPods Pro.
