The venture capital firm Astarc Ventures, early age investors Gemba Capital, deal-making platform LetsVenture, and incubator Purple Patch Ventures also participated in the round.

The company will use the funds for product building and geographical expansion, as revealed by its co-founder Saurabh Kumar.

Khidki is widely used in Gujarat. It has more than four lakh users in Gujarat. Recently, it has been launched in two other states – Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

In 2017, the app was incorporated by two IIIT Allahabad Alumni – Saurabh and Kapil Agarwal. Previously, Saurabh has been an employee of Amazon, while the other co-founder, Kapil Agarwal was associated with the now-defunct TinyOwl, the on-demand food delivery app.

Khidki was a part of the 20 companies of the winter 2017 accelerator batch of the Axilor Ventures.
