BookingJini, which helps the hotels to increase the direct bookings on their websites, has now secured INR 3 crore in the seed funding round from the angel investors network Mumbai Angels Network.
The angel network revealed in a statement that around 18 investors across its chapters participated in this funding round. The deal was led by the Apurva Salapuria, director of the real estate firm Salapuria Group.
“Bookingjini has the potential to change the way small and medium-sized hotels do business in the future,” Salarpuria said.
BookingJini was founded in the year 2017 by the Sibasish Mishra. The Software as a service startup uses the marketing automation and experience engine to help the hoteliers to maximize their revenues from the direct online booking and reduce the cost of acquisition.
“We can see a growing trend of investments in startups that are powering the India growth story, and seeing a Tier 2 city startup performing competitively against a Mumbai or Delhi startup shows the capability,” Nandini Mansinghka, CEO and co-founder of Mumbai Angels Network said.
