EVI Technologies, which is a New Delhi based electric vehicle focussed startup has now secured an undisclosed amount of funding from the Tessellate Tech Ventures, which is the investing arm of the Napino Auto and Electronics.
The company offers all the types of EV charging solutions that range from the commercial charging stations, home chargers, and battery swapping stations. It plans to use the funds to expand its team and develop a new and faster type of electric vehicle chargers.
The startup as of now is operating networking of more than 200 EV chargers installed in 16 cities and claims to have carried out more than 15000 charging’s till October 2019.
“By focusing on incubating and nurturing startups in the electronic eco-system like EVIT, we envision to open avenues for job opportunities in the country, push for production, demand, and consumption of electronic products in the domestic market which will further help in the economic development,” said Sanjeev Chopra, CEO of Electropreneur Park.
