Ferrari’s latest Capital Markets Day wasn’t just another corporate update, it was a declaration of intent. The Italian marque unveiled its 2030 Strategic Plan, outlining an ambitious roadmap that balances heritage with innovation. Between 2026 and 2030, Ferrari will launch four new models every year, expanding its portfolio while staying true to its philosophy: “Different Ferrari for different Ferraristi.”

A Diverse Future: One Brand, Many Souls

Ferrari’s next wave of vehicles won’t follow a single template. Each will be designed for a specific type of customer, tailored to unique lifestyles and driving desires. The company’s strategy hinges on differentiation, ensuring every car feels distinctly Ferrari but never repetitive.

While details of these upcoming models remain under wraps, the direction is clear: personalization, innovation, and performance will continue to define Maranello’s DNA, just interpreted through more diverse powertrains and designs.

Powertrain Philosophy: Freedom of Choice

In an era where most automakers are racing toward full electrification, Ferrari is taking a more nuanced stance. The company reaffirmed its commitment to “technology neutrality”, giving clients the freedom to choose how their Ferrari is powered.

By 2030, internal combustion engines (ICE) will still represent 40% of the lineup, hybrids another 40%, and electric vehicles the remaining 20%. That balance reflects a belief that emotion and engineering can coexist—whether it’s the spine-tingling scream of a V12 or the instant torque of an EV.

Ferrari will continue refining its legendary V6, V8, and V12 engines, making them compatible with alternative fuels while squeezing out even higher performance. Hybrids, meanwhile, will blend Ferrari’s combustion mastery with in-house-developed electric systems, advancing both efficiency and speed.

Sustainability, The Ferrari Way

Ferrari’s route to sustainability isn’t built solely on electrification. Instead, the company is focusing on reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 25% by 2030 (compared to 2024), with much of that progress coming from materials rather than drivetrains.

A key initiative involves using recycled aluminum in engines and chassis, significantly cutting Scope 3 emissions, the indirect environmental impact tied to suppliers and production. It’s a characteristically Ferrari approach: subtle, technical, and quietly revolutionary.

Craftsmanship and Customization

Ferrari has always been about more than speed; it’s about exclusivity. The brand will continue its philosophy of “selling one car less than the market demands”, preserving both desirability and mystique.

Every Ferrari sold today is already personalized, and the company plans to double down on that experience. By 2027, new Tailor Made centers in Tokyo and Los Angeles will open, alongside a state-of-the-art paint shop dedicated to bespoke finishes and customer requests.

Even older Ferraris won’t be forgotten. Of the 330,000 cars built since 1947, over 90% still exist—a testament to both durability and the brand’s enduring bond with its owners.

Financial Outlook: Profits in Motion

Ferrari isn’t just planning for emotional longevity; it’s also building financial resilience. The company has already surpassed its 2026 profitability targets, prompting an upward revision.

Now, Ferrari projects revenues above €7.1 billion ($8.2 billion) and earnings exceeding €2.72 billion ($3.15 billion). By 2030, those numbers are expected to grow to €9 billion ($10.4 billion) in revenue and €3.6 billion ($4.2 billion) in earnings driven by limited editions, a premium product mix, and growing demand for bespoke experiences.

The Road Ahead

Ferrari’s plan is less about chasing trends and more about owning its future—electric or not. With new cars, new technologies, and renewed faith in its engines, the Prancing Horse is galloping toward 2030 with confidence.

Even as the automotive world pivots to silence, Ferrari’s message rings clear: the symphony of power and passion isn’t ending anytime soon.
