Ford came to this year’s SEMA Show swinging, debuting two factory-backed beasts that blend show-car appeal with real-world accessibility the Maverick 300T and the upgraded F-150 Raptor R. Both performance packages are designed not just to draw crowds in Las Vegas but to be ordered and installed through Ford dealers nationwide, complete with warranties.
The Maverick 300T, created by Ford’s Custom Garage team, takes the compact pickup’s reputation for practicality and injects it with legitimate street-truck energy. Meanwhile, the Raptor R kit pushes Ford’s halo off-roader into super-truck territory with a staggering power boost that remains fully emissions-legal.
Maverick 300T: Small Truck, Big Turbo
The “T” in Maverick 300T stands for turbo and Ford isn’t being shy about it. The 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine has been upgraded from 238 horsepower to an estimated 300 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. The secret sauce? A larger 59mm turbocharger borrowed from the 2.3-liter EcoBoost Mustang, paired with a Mishimoto intercooler, a ProCal 4 tune, and a Borla cat-back exhaust.
Even better, this isn’t just a one-off SEMA experiment. The full turbo kit will be 50-state legal and backed by a 3-year, 36,000-mile Ford Performance Parts warranty so long as installation is handled by a certified technician. Initially, it’s designed for 2025 Maverick AWD models with the 4,000-pound towing package, though enthusiasts are already hoping Ford opens it up to earlier model years and the Maverick Lobo.
Lower, Meaner, and Ready to Roll
Performance isn’t the only upgrade here. The Maverick 300T also rides lower and sharper, thanks to a Lobo-inspired suspension drop 0.4 inches in the front and 1.18 inches in the rear alongside monotube rear dampers and a thicker anti-roll bar.
Visually, it’s dressed to impress with an Air Design front spoiler, bronze tailgate lettering by Tufskinz, Ford Performance badges, and 20-inch Mustang Mach-E GT wheels. Ford recommends pairing them with Pirelli P Zero Elect tires, though the SEMA show truck rolls on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S rubber.
Buyers will be able to choose between black or bronze accent packages when the 300T kit officially launches, though Ford has yet to announce pricing.
Raptor R: The Monster Gets Meaner
On the opposite end of the spectrum, Ford unveiled a “potential” supercharger upgrade for the F-150 Raptor R that transforms its already ferocious 5.2-liter V8 into a 900-horsepower monster. The new 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger, Ford’s largest ever fitted to a production engine, pushes performance far beyond the stock Raptor R’s 720 hp.
Just like the Maverick’s setup, the Whipple kit will be 50-state CARB legal and covered under Ford’s 3-year, 36,000-mile performance warranty, provided installation happens at a certified shop.
The SEMA truck also features carbon fiber parts from Anderson Composites, Borla exhausts, 703 Bead Grip wheels, BF Goodrich All-Terrain KO3 tires, and Rigid Industries lighting for that apocalypse-ready look.
Real Performance, Factory-Backed
Ford’s latest SEMA showcase sends a clear message: performance doesn’t have to void your warranty. Whether it’s a 300-horsepower street truck or a 900-horsepower desert dominator, the Blue Oval is giving enthusiasts the tools and the green light to build their dream trucks, straight from the showroom floor.
