goStops, which is a Delhi based startup, with a premium chain of youth traveler hostels, has now secured an undisclosed amount of funds in the initial funding from the angel investors.
Pallavi Agarwal, Co-founder, and CEO, goStops, said,
“Currently, short-stay options (hotels, guest houses, etc.) available within the budget of the youths are of poor, unpredictable quality and not youth-friendly. We aim to solve this problem by offering traveler hostels which are of high-quality, affordable, social, and experiential.”
With the help of this funding, goStops will now be going to expand its presence across the entire country by doubling its bed capacity in the coming year. As of now, it is present in 13 cities with around 800 beds capacity.
The company will now be going to utilize the funds to enhance its product offerings via the investments in the training and technology, strengthening its marketing, adds new revenue streams and build a team to handle the next phase of the growth.
“Growing number of youth prefer community living (fostering growth of co-living and co-working), and they are willing to share rooms and facilities for greater quality accommodation. Thus, goStops plans to cater to the rapidly growing aspirational demands of the youth in this category,” the founder added.
