CCO Patrick Hillman imitated by hackers making developments in scamming investors
It was stated in the reports that, CCO of Binance, Patrick Hillman, was reportedly impersonated by scamsters and fraudsters, to rob the investors off, showing the advancement in the technology the criminals are using. It was stated that, a hologram of Patrick Hillman, using artificial intelligence was programmed, which was then used to scam investors, in various cryptocurrency projects in zoom calls. Allegedly, the hologram was devised to make the investors believe that, they were a part of a new listing on Binance and that Hillman was commanding the operation
Hillman got to know about the scam, when investors, who took part in the meeting started calling him or mentioning on social media, thanking him for the guidance and help in the alleged listing opportunities. However, he was completely unaware about the meetings and straight away struck alarm bells.

Hillman made it clear that, the hackers are improving day-by-day deploying new technology to rob the investors. He didn’t only mention about the hackers but also went on to add that, Binance never includes third party in listing process, so be aware of the listing opportunities that you are venturing in.

Generally, any kind of digital asset industry is targeted by scammers and hackers either by hacking into the accounts and looting them off their investment or either luring the investors into phishing scams. But, the development of technology, use of Artificial Intelligence is surely making huge dents in the minds of the investors on the reliability of the digital asset industry.
Cryptocurrency market drowning in scams and frauds
Cryptocurrency market’s biggest draw back is not the volatile nature but the insecurity and safety issues that are persistent in the market. Though there have been regulatory bodies instituted to finetune the market in such a way that these incidents are reduced, the result that they are achieving is far from satisfactory. If the regulatory bodies do not find a solution fast, then the market might drown due to these scammers and hackers.
