New Delhi, June 25: HCL Services Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of HCL Infosystems Ltd.(India’s premier IT Services and Distribution Company), was felicitated as the “IT Service Provider of the Year” at the Frost and Sullivan India ICT awards 2015.

This prestigious award recognizes the relentless efforts of HCL Services in delivering exceptional business performance in the year 2014.

Biswanath Bhattacharya (Chief Executive, HCL Services) and R. Rengarajan Iyengar (Chief Delivery Officer, HCL Services Ltd) received the award from Joe Fristensky, Senior Partner and Head ICT, Global, Frost and Sullivan and Ajay Bakshi, Senior Vice President – Business Transformation, Aegis Limited.

HCL Services has maintained its premier position in a very competitive and transitional market by being agile and enabling its customers to develop new revenue winning capabilities in 2014. Further, its Enterprise Management and Monitoring tool (Maestro), Cloud Services, Contact Centres and R&D facilities are delivering quality solutions in its key operating markets.

“We are extremely honoured to receive this prestigious award. It acknowledges our focus on driving consistent service excellence in this dynamic industry. Such recognition motivates us further to continue creating new benchmarks in providing best-in-class services and after-sales support to our customers and partners,” said Biswanath Bhattacharya, Chief Executive, HCL Services Ltd., while speaking on the occasion.

Congratulating HCL Services, Benoy CS, Director and Head, ICT Practice, Frost & Sullivan, said: “Over the last twelve months HCL Services has created sustainable competitive differentiation in the market by making significant enhancements in its portfolio and automation tools that have received high customer appreciation. With enhanced focus on BFSI, Manufacturing, Healthcare, and ITES sectors, the company has added clients outside its existing base.”

“Also they have created a strong network of technology partners and have co-developed innovative practices to align themselves with the rapid changes in industry standards and requirements,” he added.

The 2015 Frost and Sullivan award recipients were judged on various parameters including revenue growth, market share growth, product portfolio diversity, key achievements, and go-to-market strategy, vertical and horizontal diversity, major customer acquisitions, efficacy of innovation process, product service and positioning, among others.

The process involved in-depth primary interviews of various industry participants and secondary research conducted by Frost and Sullivan analysts. An elite panel of jury members comprising prominent CIOs / CTOs from the industry evaluated the compiled data and incorporated the end-user perspective. Frost and Sullivan then presented the Awards to companies that received the highest industry rank in each category.
