The travel data, which was disclosed through public gifts filed by the House of Representatives and the Senate, revealed that the trips happened over the course of the last year and included visits to major artificial intelligence centers in the United States and other countries.
The disclosed data indicated that congressional staffers visited cities such as San Francisco, London, New York City, and Los Angeles. During these visits, staffers toured tech companies and defense contractors that are major contributors to artificial intelligence development.
