Do you want to beat Dynamax Drampa and ace as a trainer? Here is all you need to know. Follow the guide to know how you can beat this amazing Pokémon. Let’s get started.
About Dynamax Drampa
Dynamax Drampa is just a Drampa that has had the Dynamax transformation. It is a mechanic primarily seen in the Galar region when you’re playing Pokémon Sword and Shield, and also more recently in Pokémon GO. Dynamaxing has its perks, and the Pokémon becomes stronger. When it Dynamaxes, it grows to a massive size, gains a huge HP boost, and its standard attacks that one must have usually seen simply turn into powerful Max Moves like Max Wyrmwind or Max Strike. While that may be an expectation, Drampa doesn’t really have a unique Gigantamax form in its appearance. It keeps its previous look and just looks much larger after the change. If you notice it in battles, it’s a little slow. However, a hard-hitting Special Attacker can be a great addition to the team.
Steps to beat Dynamax Drampa
If you want to beat Dynamax Drampa, then these are the steps that you can follow.
Get the Heavy Hitters
If you want to beat such a Pokémon, you must have a solid team. Your best players would be Gigantamax Machamp with Max Knuckle or Eternatus with Dynamax Cannon. If you don’t have those, Zacian, Latios, or even a strong Glaceon can work great and give you a chance to beat it.
Charge the Meter Fast
Use a “Charger” Pokémon with a quick fast move to fill your Dynamax meter as quickly as possible, as this will give you an edge. It is recommended that you don’t waste time on standard Charged Attacks unless they look really important. Preserve your health!
Dodge and Collect Bubbles
When the boss attacks you, swipe to the side to dodge and collect the Max Bubbles that pop up on the screen. This is a trick that fills your meter way faster than just tapping there.
Timing the Max Phase Well
Once you transform, you can spam your Max Attack. This is important. If Drampa is hitting hard, just use Max Guard to shield your team or Max Spirit to heal. Timing is key!
Team Roles for Perfection
If you’re playing with friends, which is also recommended, have one person focus on healing with Max Spirit while the others can plan the attacks. This will make it easier and doable.
Planning and picking the right Pokémon for the team would do half the work for you. The rest is execution, which you can work on and beat Dynamax Grampa. It is doable. Just stay firm!
