About Takezo the Unrivaled
Takezo the Unrivaled is the final, and most challenging, boss in the Ghost of Yotei tale, “The Five Teachings.” He is known to be an extremely fast and aggressive master swordsman, who players consider a direct reference to the legendary historical figure, Miyamoto Musashi. Let us talk a bit about him as well. His birth name was Shinmen Takezō, and he has an amazing story in the game that adds to the interestingness of this character. Go to Yotei Summit
The final, most difficult duel takes place at the very top of Mount Yotei itself. For this, you must climb to the peak, equip the five charms from his disciples that you’ll eventually have to beat, and then wait by the campfire to begin the legendary final battle. Steps to beat Takezo the Unrivaled
Boost up
As the foremost thing, you must maximize your health and Spirit first. Then, equip the Bounty Master Armor if it is available for you, to significantly widen and improve your Perfect Parry window.
Master Perfect Parries
This move is crucial if you’re battling with him. His basic katana combos must be countered with perfect parries to create damage openings and lower his spirits. Be defensive too! Just attacks may land you in trouble.
Dodge Red Glints And Watch Weapon Swaps
Be cautious! Immediately dodge or sidestep all unblockable attacks, including the quick shoulder slice that can be a bit harsh. Takezo’s switch between his katana and oar is always followed by an unblockable draw attack, so you have no choice but to dodge it.
Stand Strong in the Blizzard
