Is it possible to check blocked voicemails?

In most cases, yes, it is possible. One can listen to the blocked voicemails that they have received on their phones. Although this may differ with different carriers. If your carrier allows it, then you can hear it. Mostly, it is available in phones, irrespective of whether you use an iPhone or an Android device.

Steps to check blocked voicemails

There are a few steps that one needs to follow in order to check their blocked voicemails. Also, these may differ slightly between Apple and Android, so make sure you understand it for which device that you use.

For Android

  • To begin, launch the Phone application on your device. This is typically the green or blue icon that resembles a telephone receiver.
  • Once inside the Phone app, direct your attention to the interface to locate the Voicemail option. This feature is frequently accessible within the application’s main menu, which might be represented by an icon with three vertical dots, usually situated in the upper-right corner of the screen.
  • Upon selecting the Voicemail option, the subsequent screen should present you with an elaborate list of all received voicemails. This detailed compilation of messages has the potential to include voicemails that have been left for you by numbers you have previously blocked on that very phone.

For iPhones

  • Begin by opening the Phone application on your device. This is the primary app for making and receiving calls.
  • Next, move to the Voicemail tab, which is consistently located in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Tap this tab to access your voicemail inbox.
  • Once within the voicemail section, scroll all the way to the very bottom of the displayed list. You should then look for a distinct section clearly labeled either “Blocked Messages” or “Blocked Voicemails.” Tapping on this specific section will allow you to access and review any voicemails that have been left by numbers you have previously blocked.

So, irrespective of the mobile device that you use, you can easily check your blocked voicemails. These are from the number and people that you have put in your block lists.

What should I do if I can’t see my blocked voicemails?

If that happens, you can relax. Since it depends on the carrier, it can be because of that very reason. Some carriers have features to prevent blocked numbers from leaving messages at all, while others store them in a dedicated folder. But if you need to check those voicemails, you can take the help of our guide and see if your carrier supports it or not. It is simple and can help to track back the calls that you received from someone you didn’t or couldn’t hear.
