Do you wish to connect your AirPods to your Nintendo Switch? Here is how you can do it! Follow the guide to know how you can connect them and enjoy gaming like never before. So, let’s get started.
Steps to connect AirPods to Nintendo Switch
If you want to pair up the two, these are the steps that you need to follow.
- Tick certain boxes before you try to connect your AirPods to your Nintendo Switch. For that, make sure your Switch is updated to the latest system firmware.
- Now we begin by putting the AirPods inside their charging case. Keep the lid wide open while you do so.
- Now press and hold the small setup button on the back of the case. Remember that you have to keep holding it until the status light on the front or inside of the case starts flashing white. This means your AirPods are now in pairing mode and looking for a connection.
- As soon as you spot the light, wake up your Nintendo Switch and go to the home screen. Select the System Settings icon and scroll down the menu on the left side until you find the Bluetooth Audio section. You have to select that, and then click on Pair Device on the right side of the screen. This means that now the Switch will start searching for nearby Bluetooth devices.
- After a few moments, your AirPods should appear on the list of available devices on the screen. Select them with your controller to make it happen. The console will take a second to connect.
- Once it takes place well, a prompt will appear letting you know that Bluetooth audio is active. You can now close the settings menu on the screen and enjoy your games with your AirPods.
What happens when we do so?
It is a great way to enhance the entire gaming experience, which feels much closer. When you connect your AirPods to your Switch, the speakers don’t play the sounds out loud, and you hear them through the chosen route.
This improves the experience by giving you complete freedom of movement since you are no longer bound by a tangled headphone cord or limited to that very space. It makes gaming in public places entirely personal, so you can boost up the volume without bothering anyone around you. You also get a much more immersive experience, allowing you to catch subtle sound cues like distant footsteps or environmental details that you would usually miss using standard console speakers. All of it helps you become a better gamer for sure.
