About Ancano in Elder Scrolls

What are the methods of defeating Ancano in Elder Scrolls?

Looking for the Staff
The first thing to do is to look for the Staff of Magnus. For this, you need to visit Labyrinthian. Keep your south and then turn east on the road. Keep moving to reach Labyrinthian. A small road will be leading you to this, and the ruins that you see are the indicators that you are at the right place.
Now make your way to the Labyrinthian Tribune. Here, you will be required to kill the dragon priest Morokei. Use a strong weapon for this and you can then take his staff.
After killing the dragon priest, you will find the door leading back to the world outside. Exit and take the road northeast to reach Winterhold where lies the next challenge, and the most important one.
To Fight Ancano
After reaching Winterhold, you will be using your staff to find and then open the way to college. Point your staff in the direction and press “Attack” amidst the strong winds and you will be able to do so.
Find Ancano in the ‘Hall of Elements’. There will be a dialogue between Ancano and Tolfdir which will end soon and then you can point your staff towards the Eye of Magnus to make it smaller in size, ultimately closing. Now finally come to Anacon and kill him with a weapon that you possess.
