In 007 First Light, the Uninvited mission gives players several ways to reach the CCTV room. One of the fastest and most satisfying methods is entering through the skylight instead of using the standard keycard route. This approach not only feels like a classic James Bond infiltration sequence, but it also helps players complete the Dropping In challenge while avoiding several heavily guarded sections of the security wing.

The skylight route requires careful movement, good timing, and smart gadget usage. If you rush through the area, guards and surveillance systems can easily spot you. Taking a stealth focused approach makes the objective much easier and keeps the mission flowing smoothly.
Reach The Security Wing
Before you can access the skylight, you need to reach the section of the building connected to the CCTV room. Move through the gala area and enter the security wing through the double doors. Once inside, you will eventually find the locked CCTV room door. Ignore the temptation to focus on that entrance because the skylight path takes you around the room rather than directly through it.
Stay close to cover and use the cubicles on the left side of the area. A guard patrols this section and can quickly ruin a stealth run if he spots you. Use a distraction or the Lure ability to pull him away from his position. When he investigates the noise, quietly take him down and hide the body if necessary.
Pass The Cameras And Locked Doors
After dealing with the guard, move down the corridor he was protecting. Watch for the motion detection camera positioned above the hallway. Getting caught here can alert nearby enemies and create unnecessary problems.
Use the Q Watch Laser Strap gadget to unlock the secured door at the end of the corridor. Once inside, continue through the smaller passage. Two non hostile characters can usually be found talking nearby. Fortunately, they are not a major threat, so simply move past them without drawing attention.
At the end of this passage, you will notice another locked door marked by an exit sign. Open this door with the Laser Strap gadget as well. Beyond it lies the outdoor balcony area that eventually leads to the roof.
Clear The Balcony Safely
The balcony is one of the most important sections of the entire route. Two security officers patrol this area, and getting spotted can quickly escalate the situation.
A reliable strategy is to use the Phone Dart gadget on the guard positioned farther away. This distraction pulls attention from your location and creates an opening. Once the second guard is isolated, perform a stealth takedown before dealing with the distracted officer.
Patience matters here. Wait for the right moment instead of charging forward. The goal is to keep the balcony secure so you can climb toward the roof without triggering an alarm or entering open combat.
Climb To The Roof And Find The Skylight
With the balcony cleared, locate the pipe attached to the side of the building. Climb it carefully until you reach the rooftop section above the CCTV room.
After reaching the roof, turn left and stay crouched. A small opening allows you to move across the rooftop without exposing yourself. Continue through this narrow space until the skylight becomes visible.
This area also contains electronic devices that can provide additional battery power for your Q Watch. Collecting these resources is a good idea because the gadget plays a key role in the final step of the infiltration.
The rooftop section is usually quiet, but staying crouched remains important. A careless sprint can still attract unwanted attention if nearby enemies happen to be looking in your direction.
Hack The Skylight And Drop In
Once you reach the skylight, prepare your Q Watch. Use its hacking function to interact with the mechanism controlling the glass panel. After a successful hack, the skylight opens and creates a direct path into the surveillance room below.
Drop through the opening and land inside the CCTV room. This immediately bypasses the standard entrance and completes the objective associated with entering through the skylight. Players pursuing challenge completion will also earn progress toward the Dropping In challenge.
The entire sequence perfectly captures the spy fantasy that defines 007 First Light. Instead of relying on a simple keycard, you sneak through restricted corridors, outsmart guards, scale the exterior of the building, and descend through a hidden rooftop entry point. For players who enjoy stealth, this is easily one of the most rewarding ways to handle the CCTV room objective in the game.
