Getting and Evolving
If you have the baby version or Budew, the process gets elongated, and you have to add a few more steps to your routine.
Maximize Friendship
Do all you can to fill the meter of friendship, as this is necessary. You cannot proceed with the next steps unless you have a good friendship level.
Level Up During the Day
Once that friendship meter is high enough, Budew will only evolve if it gains a level during the daytime when the sun is still out.
Evolving into Roserade
You have Roselia now, and now you can move towards doing the next part.
Find a Shiny Stone
This is the “evolution trigger,” as the developers call it, and is much needed. Unlike Fire or Water stones, these are usually a bit rarer and often found in different areas depending on the game.
