About Diancie
If you haven’t seen Diancie as yet, you should, as it is a gorgeous Mythical Pokémon of the Rock/Fairy type, which was first introduced in Generation VI. It’s also known as the Jewel Pokémon and is a rare transformation of a Carbink that will simply blow your mind. The lore has it that it can instantly create diamonds by compressing the carbon in the air, and that is so unique that you won’t find it elsewhere. This gives it its signature move, Diamond Storm. If you’re on the opposite side, you’d better watch out for this! Diancie also has a spectacular Mega Evolution, which significantly boosts its speed and attack stats, turning it into a powerful glass cannon on the battlefield. It’s associated with special events, and that’s mostly when you can acquire it.
Where is Diancie found in Legends: Z-A?
Diancie isn’t found just wandering around in the wild! To get the Mythical Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you need to complete a special Side Mission called “Shine Bright Like a Gemstone.” And in order to start this quest, you must first complete the main story, and then only you can use the Mystery Gift feature to receive the Diancite Mega Stone. Steps to get Diancie in Legends: Z-A

Complete the First Story
You must first complete the main story campaign and let the credits accumulate. This is the primary thing you must do in order to get Diancie. The mission only becomes available in the post-game.
Get the Mystery Gift
The next thing you’ve got to do is to connect your Nintendo Switch to the internet and simply use the Mystery Gift feature. From the given options, choose “Get via Internet” to receive the Diancite Mega Stone.
Jump into the Side Mission
Next, you have to fast travel to the Looker Bureau in Lumiose City and go inside. There you will see Mimi, who is Emma’s Espurr partner. She will show interest in your Diancite and trigger the side mission, “Shine Bright like a Gemstone.”
Follow the Trail
Now that you’ve spoken to her, you’ll follow Mimi and Emma through different spots in Lumiose City, eventually leading you to a tall rooftop in Magenta Sector 8. That’s the spot we’ve been looking for!
Jump into the Battle and Catch
Once you reach the roof, a level 70 Diancie appears for you to battle, weaken it, and then catch it to officially add the Jewel Pokémon to your existing team.
