Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, titled Override, adds several unusual power-ups and gaming-inspired items to Battle Royale. One of the most powerful is the God Mode Llama. When activated, it temporarily turns your character into an unstoppable wrecking ball. You become immune to damage, move faster, jump higher, and can smash through structures while dealing damage to players you hit.
How to Get the God Mode Llama
The God Mode Llama comes from a Llama Supply Drop Gizmo. This is currently the main way to obtain the power-up in Fortnite. You cannot simply search normal chests and expect to find it.
Follow these steps:
- Get a Llama Supply Drop Gizmo. You can obtain one through the season’s systems, including certain quests. A Lobby Hack code can also provide one.
- Enter a Battle Royale match and select the Gizmo from your inventory.
- Deploy the Llama Supply Drop at a suitable location.
- Wait for the special supply crate to arrive.
- Open the crate and check its contents.
- If the God Mode Llama does not appear, you will need another supply drop.
The important thing to remember is that the God Mode Llama is not guaranteed. The supply crate can contain other rewards, including a 1-Up Token, a Legendary weapon, or a Chug Jug. Because of this random loot pool, you may need several Gizmos before getting the power-up.

What Does the God Mode Llama Do?
The God Mode Llama is designed for short, aggressive bursts. Equip it and press your normal Fire input to activate it. Once triggered, the effect gives you a temporary period of invulnerability.
While the power-up is active, you get several major advantages:
- You cannot take damage.
- Your movement speed increases.
- Your jumps become higher.
- Your stamina becomes effectively unlimited.
- You can smash through structures and builds.
- Colliding with opponents deals damage.
- You cannot fire your normal weapons while the effect is active.
The invulnerability lasts only for a short period, reported at roughly 10 to 15 seconds.
Best Time to Use the God Mode Llama
Do not waste the God Mode Llama simply because you have it. Its biggest advantage comes from choosing the right moment.
Use it when an opponent has you trapped behind builds, when you need to escape a bad position, or when the Storm is forcing you into an exposed rotation.
Remember that the effect ends quickly. Once it wears off, you become vulnerable again, so make sure you have a safe position or a clear plan before the timer expires.
God Mode Llama and Power-Up Quests
The God Mode Llama also matters for players working through Power Up-related quests in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4. The current Power Up objective requires players to acquire eight Power Ups. You do not need eight different types. Repeatedly obtaining qualifying Power Ups can contribute to progress.
The God Mode Llama and 1-Up Token are among the Power Ups that count, making Llama Supply Drops useful when you are trying to complete this objective in Fortnite.
