This will be a huge, full-scale event focused on confronting the tentacled demon that has appeared in the biggest lore, leading straight into the launch of Chapter 7. When does the Fortnite live event take place?
A live event just wrapped up in Fortnite. The next major live event is the huge Chapter 6 finale, which we have already discussed above. It’s officially scheduled for November 29th, and it is the one that will conclude the whole Chapter 6 storyline with the tentacled demon in the myth, the story, the lore. This will take you through the story and transition straight into Chapter 7 with a completely new map. We are not given a specific time for that yet, but it may begin as soon as possible. Steps to join the Fortnite Live event
If you want to join the Live event in Fortnite, then these are the steps that you need to follow.
Make it on Time
The most critical and important step is to log into Fortnite about 30 to 60 minutes before the official start time, so that you get to be there and not miss out on anything! This is November 29th for the Chapter 6 finale! Server queues can get extremely long right before the event, and logging in late could mean you miss it entirely or enter when you may miss some of it.
Look for the Special Playlist
Once you’re logged in, move to the game mode selection screen. Once you’re inside, Epic Games will make a special, dedicated live event mode the only playable option on the screen. Here, you have to look for a playlist with a name like “The End” or the official event title, and it will be there for you.
Pick Your Outfit and Start
Choose your favorite cosmetic loadout before you join the event playlist. If you leave to change your skin, you’ll be moved out of the queue, and may have to log in all over again. Therefore, once you’re in the event playlist lobby, just wait patiently. The match will automatically start as the timer hits zero, and it’s time. So you’ll be flown to the event location to watch all of it!
