- Unlock Duchess First: Your journey to Revenant begins by gaining access to Duchess. To do this, you’ll need to complete your initial “Tricephalos Expedition,” or at least when you actually challenge the first Nightlord. After this, speak with the Priestess in the Roundtable Hold. She’ll inquire about a unique green relic, the “Old Pocketwatch,” which you generally acquire during the expedition. Hand it over, and she’ll reveal her true identity as the Duchess to you.
- Acquire the Besmirched Frame: Once the Duchess is part of your roster, you will have to make your way to the Small Jar Bazaar, also located within the Roundtable Hold. Here, you can purchase the Besmirched Frame for 1,500 Murk, a currency earned through completing Expeditions.
- Engage with the Phantom: After securing the Besmirched Frame, a new character portrait marked with an exclamation point will appear on your map in the east wing of the Roundtable Hold. At this point, you must head to this spot to find a mysterious, spectral young woman gazing at a painting. Interact with her to progress.
- Confront the Night Idol: Interacting with the phantom will transport you back to Limveld, which is the tutorial area. However, this time you’ll face the Night Idol boss, who is, in fact, the Revenant herself. This can be a challenging encounter as she’s accompanied by three summoned spirits – a Page, a Pumpkin Head, and a massive skeleton. Prioritize defeating these summoned allies before focusing your attacks on the Night Idol.
- Revenant will be Unlocked: Once you successfully defeat the Night Idol, you’ll be returned to the Roundtable Hold, and the Revenant will be officially unlocked as a playable character class, ready to join your adventures.
