Acciojob, which is a Gurgaon based startup that offers the placement services for students, has now secured Rs 1.25 crore in the fresh funding round led by the Mehta Ventures.
Apart from the Hershel Mehta, who is the principal of the Mehta Ventures and cousins of the Veteran Angel Investor Sanjay Mehta, the investor also included the contribution from some of the existing investor and Silicon Valley-based accelerator of the Y Combinator.
The startups which are founded by the graduates of Indian Institute of Technology – Delhi, Acciojob aims to be as one of the stop placement solution for the colleges, students and companies by offering a marketplace for the jobs.
“We aim to create a network of colleges and become the central placement platform for companies to hire from campuses, taking this process online,” said AccioJob chief executive Yashwardhan Burad.
The firm also claims the number of students hired by the Acciojob’s partner companies has been growing at the 100% month on month for the last three months.
AccioJob also intends too onboard around 1000 colleges in the coming next two years.
