Lawyered, which is a Delhi based legal technology platform, has now secured $100000 from angel investors.
The investors include the Pramendra Tomar, general counsel at Apollo International, Ratish Pandey, former general manager at Bose Corporation, Munish Bhatia, general manager at mentorship-driven incubator India Accelerator and Sumit Aggarwal, owner at Rainbows participated in the funding round.
The startup will now be going to use the capital to support product development. This funding is also expected to drive the expansion of the market base of the company and to fuel further partnerships and collaborations, according to the report.
The company, which is founded by the Himanshu Gupta in the year 2018, offers services that include assisting companies, enterprises, startups, business owners, and individuals in connecting to the legal professionals with the help of its platform.
“With the ever-increasing population of internet users, consumer demand through the internet is driving big changes in the way we find lawyers. The erstwhile methods like personal connections or word-of-mouth aren’t long-lasting or scalable. This is where Lawyered adds value to its customers,” Gupta said.
