MedLife which is a Bangalore based startup that delivers the medicines and offers some of the other healthcare services revealed that it has now acquired the online pharmacy apps Myra Medicines.
As of now, there are no such financial details. The acquisition will help the MedLife to strengthen its pharma business and accrue profits as well as to expand Myra services to more than 22 cities by the end of this April – June quarter, the statement revealed.
“Our acquisition of Myra Medicines will be a game changer in the delivery of quality services for access to medicines. We are currently servicing over 20,000 deliveries every day across 29 states and having Myra on board will further strengthen our standing as a dependable and reliable partner for people’s health. Our target for the next quarter is to achieve a 30-minute to the one-hour delivery window,” said Tushar Kumar, founder, and chief executive, Medlife.
The startup which is founded by the Prashant Singh and Kumar in the year 2014, it started with the online medicine delivery and gradually diversified into the online doctor laboratory and consultations services. The company as of now is also in the process of launching a new generic business and with some other private label products.
