The Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase took place today, and during the presentation, a number of third-party announcements as well as several release dates for previously announced Switch games were made. Here’s a brief rundown of the event’s noteworthy improvements in case you don’t want to wait through the 25-minute presentation.
Grounded and Pentiment Joins Switch
Two of the four enigmatic Xbox games from Obsidian Entertainment that will be available on other systems have been made public. Switch will welcome Grounded on April 16 and Pentiment the following day, on February 22.

Though we’ve seen a lot of VanillaWare’s stunning turn-based strategy game, we can now play it before its official release on March 8.
Monster Hunter Stories – Summer 2024
Monster Hunter, a 2017 Nintendo 3DS role-playing game spin-off, is coming to Switch (along with PlayStation 4 and Steam). This release offers HD graphics along with new voiceovers, a museum mode, and more material that was originally exclusive to Japan.
Epic Mickey from Disney: Rebrushed – 2024
The 2011 title Epic Mickey is being reworked for a possible Switch rerelease. The improved remake has new Mickey talents, improved visuals, and other enhancements. Here is where you can find out more information.
June 21st, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance
The base adventure and a new plot with additional locales and monsters are included in this comprehensive edition of SMT V.
March 14: Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection
Updates to the original Battlefront games include added maps of Jabba’s Palace, Bespin: Cloud City, and Yavin 4: Arena, as well as new playable characters Kit Fisto and Asajj Ventress.
Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream – 2024

A new chapter in the Fantasy Life series allows you to take on 14 distinct roles, or Lives, and solve mysteries while building a community in the present and exploring an island in the past. Four-player cooperative play is another option.
April 25: Another Crab’s Treasure
You go out on an expedition to retrieve your shell as a hermit crab that has misplaced it. In order to fight or attack underwater dangers, this entails employing every item of garbage found in a polluted ocean as a temporary shell, each with a unique set of powers.
